Axelrod on whether Obama will campaign for Lincoln for mayor

White House senior advisor David Axelrod, on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday was asked by host David Gregory if Obama will campaign for Chicago mayoral hopeful Lincoln.
Said Axelrod, "Well, the president has made clear what his view of Lincoln is. He said he was a trusted companion of his dog Bo, Sasha and Malia adores him and he thinks he would be an excellent mayor. Whether he involves himself actively in this campaign is a matter that we haven't yet decided. But I think his love of Lincoln is very clear."
